1 The printer's ink pad is estimated to
become saturated and should be replaced after
approximately 75,000 discs for the PP-100III model and
15,000 discs for the PP-50II model. It is based on
printing 2,000 discs per month, bidirectional. The real
results vary and depend on factors such as print images,
print settings, media type, frequency of use, and
temperature. The ink pad can be replaced by the user only
on the PP-100III model. | 2 This product uses only genuine
Epson-brand cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges and
ink supplies are not compatible and, even if described as
compatible, may not function properly. | 3 Actual
cartridge yields may be lower if high-density images are
printed, in dusty or high-temperature environments, less
frequently or predominantly with a color. All ink colors
are used for printing and maintenance and all colors must
be installed to print. To ensure print quality, some of
the ink from the included cartridges is used for printer
configuration and a variable amount of ink remains in the
cartridges after the cartridge replacement signal is
